About the CPD course
Cow’s milk allergy (CMA) can be a complex condition to correctly diagnose and manage. Most bottle-fed patients with CMA will have mild to moderate CMA but a small minority will suffer from more severe CMA where the prescription of an amino acid may be appropriate. Join Dr. Helen Howells as she briefly recaps on CMA and its appropriate dietary management; before delving into the management of severe CMA; covering when an amino acid formula may be appropriate and the additional support those patients may need.
