The course is designed for those in clinical practice needing to be able to competently interpret the results of spirometry testing. It is suitable for all registered nurses; GP’s and other registered allied HCP’s. It utilises materials suitable for a number of learning styles and includes Power Point; practical use of skills and exercises to help embed knowledge using real world scenarios. The course considers the various parameters available and recommendations set out by differing specialist groups (NICE; BTS/SIGN; GINA and GOLD). It is designed to facilitate that clinician to move towards ARTP registration if this is their chosen outcome.
