Managing incidents of sharing nudes is a brand-new online learning course designed to help professionals who have specific child protection or safeguarding responsibility in educational settings (such as designated safeguarding leads) across the four UK nations to respond to incidents of nude image sharing; sometimes referred to as sexting. The course is closely linked to the advice from the UK Council for Internet Safety (UKCIS; 2020) Sharing nudes and semi nudes: advice for education settings working with children and young people. All films are subtitled; audio tracks include transcripts; and the course has been tested using NVDA screen-reading software.
We’re leading the fight against child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We believe that every childhood is worth fighting for. We help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening. NSPCC Learning is here to provide professionals with all the tools, training and resources needed to keep children safe.
