About the CPD course
This short course is designed specifically for people working or volunteering in the faith sector. A basic safeguarding awareness may be useful prior to attending this course but it is not essential. This course will provide attendees with an awareness of what exploitation is and the ways that children could be vulnerable to being exploited more generally before considering how exploitation might look in a faith setting. It then explores potential signs and indicators of exploitation before looking at how to respond. This session will end by sign-posting people who want more information to relevant resources.
