About the CPD course
It is essential for any health and social care workers to be able to identify and treat anaphylaxis promptly and effectively. Anaphylaxis is a severe & life-threatening allergic reaction that is rapid in onset and may cause death if untreated. This course will look at the main triggers of an anaphylactic reaction; treatment options and the term Patient Group directions and how this is relatable to a patient suffering from an anaphylactic reaction. During this course there will be an auto-injector demonstration to aid and assist learning.
