About the CPD course
This full day course will give professionals (Teachers; lunchtime assistants; health workers; youth workers; play workers; mentors; counsellors) an introduction to Child Abuse Linked to Faith and Belief. The course will enable individuals to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns specific to faith and belief when working with children and young people. Professionals will be equipped with the knowledge of the signs and symptoms of various forms of child abuse linked to faith and belief including physical; sexual; emotional; neglect; forced marriage and Female Genital Mutilation. Participants will leave the session confident that they can act effectively and appropriately in response to the safeguarding and protection of children and young people in relation to faith and belief child abuse.
