About the CPD course
PACE (Playfulness Acceptance Curiosity Empathy) training provides delegates with a different approach to parenting children who have experienced trauma. Children and young people who have not experienced a secure base with meaningful attachment may have difficulty expressing their emotions. They may do so in a manner that might lead to them being viewed negatively. The child’s needs and abilities may have been affected. Pace training provides a positive and much needed frame of reference with guidelines. Using Pace will provide foster carers and anyone working with children who have experienced trauma; with useful tools to engage and support them.
We're a team of experienced professionals and experts in providing PACE training. With years of experience and a deep understanding of the application of Dan Hughes' attachment parenting model, we have the skills needed to help our trainees develop safe, trusting relationships with children and young people who may have experienced trauma in their lives.
