Be Internet Citizens teaches teenagers aged 13-15 about media literacy; critical thinking and digital citizenship; with the aim of encouraging young people to have a positive voice online. The Be Internet Citizens teacher workshop is for secondary school teachers. The interactive session will introduce you to the Be Internet Citizens programme before walking you through the Be Internet Citizens PSHE Association-accredited Unit of Work. We will do a deep dive of some of the activities and how you can run these with your class; before discussing how you can embed the resources into your school’s own media literacy activity.
