About the CPD course
Introduction to CDM. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 make duty holders; like designers and contractors; accountable for the consideration and management of health and safety on a construction site right from the very start to the end. The CDM Regulations were brought in to strengthen communication and co-operation between construction workers and key duty holders. The aim of the Regulations is to minimise the risk of serious injuries and workplace fatalities on construction sites. These rules apply to all construction sites across Great Britain; in territorial seas; and with renewable energy structures in the renewable energy zone.
