A one-day in-person course or online course for support workers and carers working with people with brain injury or other neurological conditions. This course can be delivered bespoke to your staff; at your own venue or other agreed location or there will be courses for individuals to book onto throughout the year. Topics include understanding the brain (anatomy and physiology); types of brain injury and how they present; understanding balance; understanding how to support clients with balance issues; understanding the principles of water when supporting clients in the pool and accountability and responsibility – the role of the support worker.
