Course content includes - Causes of fires in the workplace; hazards during and after a fire; the fire triangle; fire and smoke spread; fire prevention; fire detection and raising the alarm; discovering a fire; classification and operation of fire extinguishers; fire safety signs and notices; fire safety law; duties and responsibilities of employers and employees; fire risk assessment and fire precautions specific to an educational setting.
