The Unspoken Language of Safeguarding

“The Unspoken Language of Safeguarding” is a one-day practice-based training for Child Therapists. It provides a clear understanding of the therapist’s role and responsibility with regards to safeguarding and child protection processes in the UK. Attendees are taken through the Continuum of Need model to help identify a child or family’s level of need; the support they require and the steps that should be followed. Through role play and case studies; participants will leave the training confident in how to apply safeguarding in the therapy room to protect themselves and their clients.
