About the CPD course
The lone worker training course is to support those who lone work by exploring risk and scenarios a professional may face while working with families. The course helps professionals develop a understanding around risks and how to implement safe systems of work. Looking at their own experiences and gaining knowledge around Dynamic risk assessments as well as identifying steps to minimise risk. Suitable for delegates with no previous experience of lone working, and for others as an introduction to safe practices
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years with a life-threatening or terminal illness. There are an estimated 86,625* children in England with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This number has trebled over the last 17 years and is rising. Thousands of families have to face the very real possibility that their child may die and struggle to cope on a day to day basis. Rainbow Trust Family Support Workers provide a lifeline to these families and children.
The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provide bespoke support for families who have a child with a serious illness. We offer the whole family support, regardless of diagnosis and are there for as long as a family needs us.
