This is an interactive course designed to be fun and informative. There will be opportunity for lone activities; feedback; and group interaction. This course is designed to raise awareness of Equality; Diversity and Inclusion and serve as a reminder of the importance of treating everyone with respect and dignity. It reminds us to offer fair access and opportunities to all in work and our personal life. Learners will be informed of the legal framework that we must work within as well as becoming more aware of our unconscious bias and the effect this can have on relationships and conversations.
We are a unique charity, delivering programmes which reduce reoffending, tackle homelessness and feed communities. Our workshops and partner employers offer training and employment opportunities for ex-offenders to develop skills and secure full-time work ready for release. We also offer wrap-around support for men and women to secure stable housing, manage finances, rebuild relationships and more.. Our facility offers safe, supportive accommodation from which men receive personal support and undertake training and work placements. Developing their skills, confidence and resilience, residents then move into work and their own home.
