About the CPD course
This pre-recorded webinar is to be used across Norfolk Police Constabulary as an awareness raising resource. The webinar outlines what CAPVA (child/ adolescent to parent violence and abuse) is. It also explores some of the reasons CAPVA may happen with more detailed exploration of trauma and domestic abuse. It includes a quiz around the demographics of CAPVA highlighting the gendered nature of the issue. It helps frontline officers to consider tricky issues and deliver best practice when responding to call outs.
