About the CPD course
This e-course aims to train professionals working in formal (e.g. prisons; probation; police) and informal (e.g. in the community) criminal justice settings on how to prevent violent radicalisation. The ecourse focuses on developing professionalsÂ’ skills; knowledge and confidence in using restorative justice; trauma-informed practice and dialogue-based approaches when working with individuals who are at risk of being involved or exposed to violent radicalisation. It also aims to build the capacities across-sectors for better cross-agency cooperation in the fight against extremism. The e-course has 6 modules leading to its learning outcomes.
