The battery system connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is key to its continuous operation. This seminar introduces the key considerations to take into account to ensure the batteries are appropriately sized to meet the needs of the intended application. These factors include total load; AC/DC efficiency; and the required autonomy. It also offers an overview of the calculator tools available to assist with the process and advice on where to install the batteries; including a comparison of battery racks versus cabinets.
