About the CPD course
During construction; maintenance; and renovation work at live hospitals; it is essential that a clean and safe environment is maintained. This presentation introduces the Capture; Contain; Control "3C's" methodology and explains how it can be applied to airborne health hazards in the healthcare environment. The learning objectives of this session are: Understand how to capture; contain and control hazards effectively; improving and protecting the site environment. Understand a breakdown of the Health Building Note 00-09 and the importance of infection prevention and control in the built environment. Understand the hazard solutions available based on current best practice.
