Safeguarding training for professionals and volunteers with a designated safeguarding lead responsibility. This workshop is fully compliant with the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children. Delegates will go beyond the traditional signs and symptoms and think critically about assessment of need; social context and develop skills and strategies to minimise risk and vulnerability and effectively recognise; respond; report and intervene in the event of abuse and maltreatment. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility – please contact Safe4Schools directly for more information.
Safe 4 Schools supports the education sector to provide consistent, high quality and evidence-based safeguarding training that is crucial for any agency which aspires to deliver safe and effective services to their clients and service users. Our unique approach helps schools to maximise existing school platforms such as PSHE to embed effective safeguarding practice at all levels.
All of our services are fully compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children and is tailored to each local area in which we deliver. We move away from a traditional and outdated training approach focused solely on the signs and symptoms of abuse to one which can improve practice and deliver better outcomes for children, young people, families and organisations.
