About the CPD course

This course has been written in conjunction with Epilepsy Action who have provided up-to-date facts and statistics referenced within the course. Epilepsy is a common neurological condition that causes repeated seizures. It affects nearly 1 in 100 people in the UK. That’s more than twice as many people as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s combined. Anyone can develop epilepsy. However; some groups of people have a higher risk of being diagnosed with the condition. In this course; you’ll learn more about caring for people with epilepsy. (Note that administering medication for epilepsy requires separate training.)
