Smart Buildings – How IoT is shaping the built environment

This CPD looks at the subject of Smart Buildings and the way in which the Internet of Things” (or IoT) is affecting the built environment with increased levels of connectivity within (and between) buildings; how building management will be a key aspect of future developments; and how the power of cloud computing is revolutionizing the way in which use apps; analytics and services in buildings. We will briefly look at the subject of cybersecurity; protecting measures against threads that come with new technologies and finally we will touch on considerations when looking at IoT in Buildings.
