Seminar for Counsellors on the Needs of Adult Siblings of People with a Lifelong Disability

Seminar Sibs

About the CPD course

There are an estimated 1.7 million adult siblings in the UK. Adult siblings have experienced a lifetime of their needs coming second to that of another person. They are vulnerable to isolation; and are at risk of anxiety and depression. The seminar will help counsellors focus their practice on this unique sibling experience that extends across the lifespan which needs specialist attention and care. 2.15 – 5.30; NCVO – National Council for Voluntary Organisations; Society Building; 8 All Saints Street; London; N1 9RL
