About the CPD course

They can take many different forms and can cause many health problems ranging from mild irritation through to permanent damage or even death. Therefore it is important to be able to recognise them and control the risks. In this course we look at the ‘Control of Substances Hazardous to Health’ regulations; reveal the potential health effects of exposure to hazardous substances and the need to ensure that this exposure is controlled within the workplace to minimise risks.
