CPD Courses

Accelerators of skin ageing and how do we manage this stress?

Webinar Skin Life Analytics

About the CPD course

Skin in the 21st century is subject to external stressors such as pollution and sun exposure; and internal stressors such as diet and stress. Sunlight and pollution damage cellular biomarkers but also damage the batteries of the cell – the mitochondria. Mitochondria are central to the vicious cycle of ageing due to reactive oxygen species causing DNA damage to the mitochondria leading to dysfunctional mitochondria; which in turn leads to decreased bioenergy. This video will allow for pausing and restarting where required.
