About the CPD course
How we can help employers and employees alleviate the risk of burnout, understand and reduce the impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and achieve the best outcomes for all.
This in-depth course, led by Founder Matt Shepley or Mental Health Lead Julie Fox, is designed for employees, managers, and senior managers. With over 40 years of combined professional experience, Matt and Julie provide valuable insights from their community work. The course equips customer-facing staff with skills to support clients with diagnosed or undiagnosed PTSD, manage PTSD symptoms, reduce burnout, and enhance service delivery.
We work in the underserved communities within our region, providing innovative trauma-informed services, helping people of these communities start to recognise and work on their diagnosed, but often undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
We aim to raise awareness with our CPD-accredited training, as it is a condition that is often stigmatised as something that affects only those who have served in the Armed Services.
The training is based on Founder Matt Shepley’s & MH Lead Julie Fox’s first-hand experience of working with PTSD in a front-line key working role and extensive support of those who suffer from this debilitating condition.
