About the CPD course

A certified, online safeguarding course specifically for Home to School Transport providers including drivers and passenger assistants. The course meets all Department for Education statutory requirements published in January 2024 and includes handling of emergency situations, equality (recognising, supporting and communicating with children with disabilities), behaviour management, appropriate relationships. It will raise standards of best practice and reduce incidents. The learning is aimed at trainees who are not confident in IT skills through video led learning. Certificates are accessible upon successful completion of the course and the training can be independently verified by local authorities.
