About the CPD course
This course provides a refresher on respiratory physiology and equips delegates with the knowledge and skills to manage breathlessness in the palliative patient. It considers the use of pulse oximetry in Palliative and End of Life Care and includes practical skills in the use of a pulse oximeter.
St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year we support more than 10,500 people across Lincolnshire affected by a life-limiting or terminal condition. We deliver free, high quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. We aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks, or months they have left.
Our Mission is to ensure all individuals facing the end of their life in Lincolnshire receive dignified, compassionate care when they require it and where they ask for it.
