About the CPD course
This course will give housing practitioners the skills and knowledge to write case notes that support an effective response to domestic abuse. This course will cover: Why housings case notes are integral to an effective response to domestic abuse; What information needs to be included and on who (and why); How to write a good case note: the content of your case notes matter; Why you must flag and tag domestic abuse on your CMS (separate to ASB) This course is suitable for: Housing practitioners who interact with customers face to face; make home visits and hold a caseload.
The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was established in 2014 as a partnership between Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse (STADA), Gentoo and Peabody housing associations. We are the leading specialist domestic abuse organisation offering training suitable for local authorities and social housing providers to improve their response to domestic abuse. We use our practice-based experience to work alongside partners across the housing and domestic abuse sector to influence policy and national decision making through our DAHA-led National Domestic Abuse & Housing Policy and Practice Group.
