About the CPD course
Regular medication training is a necessity for all those working with vulnerable young people. A child or young person may; at any point; require a form of medication on a short term or long-term basis; therefore understanding of correct storage; administration; recording and disposal is paramount to ensuring the safety of all involved. The course will aid the delegate’s understanding of the different categories of medication; how and when they should be administered; their legal responsibilities and the importance of accurate and up to date records. It will also advise the delegates on appropriate action to take in the event of a drug error; misuse or overdose.
