This refresher course builds upon participants' previous learning from Awareness and Alerter sessions. It covers: Refresh - the types of and signs of abuse and neglect: Refresh - how to recognise indicators of abuse and supporting people to keep safe; Refresh - how and when to alert; Explore the safeguarding statistics and themes seen in Humankind; Analyse the changes in the safeguarding landscape; Update - legislative and practice changes in the three years since last training; Share best practice: Reflect on your personal understanding and implementation of safeguarding during the last three years.
