About the CPD course

Support families with our virtual training for professionals working with parents/ carers. You'll consider the context of your setting; understand the Team Teach approach to behaviour support; and develop a toolkit of ideas to improve communication with families; including delivering Team Teach Family Workshops. We’ll discuss the importance of building trusting relationships; barriers and challenges; and ways to change perceptions. You’ll consider accessibility and how to reach more families; feeding into your Accessibility Plan. We’ll also explore ways to diffuse conflict and create spaces for emotional conversations; working with parents and carers so they feel part of decision making.
