About the CPD course
This course is designed to further develop the skills; knowledge and confidence of early years practitioners undertaking the role of the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo). The role of SENCo is central to implementing an inclusive setting ethos and is not without its challenges. This course explores some of the many additional responsibilities; tasks and knowledge required to ensure that evidence-based practice informs effective decision making. Together we will draw on our collective expertise; experiences and problem-solving skills to explore the key issues that impact on your day to day support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
