About the CPD course
If you are currently caring for an infant under the age of one; or might do so in the future; it is crucial to be aware of the risk factors for SIDS and how to set up safer sleeping practices. SIDS; or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome; refers to the sudden and unexplained death of a baby under one year of age; usually occurring during sleep. It is also commonly known as 'cot death.' While much about SIDS remains unknown; certain safer sleeping guidelines have been shown to effectively reduce the risks. Being well-informed about these guidelines is important for anyone caring for an infant.
