About the CPD course
Grief is the process of reacting to a loss; which can be the death of a loved one or a change in ones life. Grief can take many forms; it can occur many years later and no child will experience loss in the same way. This is particularly relevant to you as a foster carer; as the act of coming into care itself means that a child has lost the family unit that they once had; and it will be important to understand how to best support them through a very difficult time in their life.
