Health & Safety Training

The Health and Safety course is designed for healthcare professionals; prioritising the well-being of staff and patients in healthcare. It delves into the critical field of occupational health and safety (OHS) to enhance workplace safety standards. Participants will gain an understanding of OHS principles; which involve analysing trends in workplace injuries and illnesses; and offering recommendations to minimise risks and hazards. Key topics include exploring relevant health and safety laws; risk management concepts; and steps for controlling workplace risks. Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and discussing preventive measures are also central components of the course. Importantly; it emphasises that ensuring a safe working environment is a collective responsibility shared by employers; employees; and all stakeholders connected to the workplace.
