About the CPD course
Adverse childhood experiences, including abuse, neglect and dysfunctional home environments, are associated with the development of harmful behaviours in later life. When children do not have ‘good enough care’, children’s neuropathways do not form in the same way as children who have, meaning their brain may not develop typically. It is important that all early years practitioners have an understanding of this.
Developed by Catrina Lowri, qualified special needs teacher, SENCO and creator of Neuroteachers resources, this Essential CPD course will provide you with the knowledge and awareness of adverse childhood experiences in early years.
