The Sustainability Leads First Edition Test Course supports climate action in schools, by helping educators develop comprehensive Climate Action Plans (CAP), aligned with the Department for Education’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy (England). Guided by the values of caring for the earth, people, and the future, this course emphasises the involvement of the entire school community, including leadership, staff, students and their families. It covers key areas such as climate education, green skills, digital infrastructure, and operations, using the 3H model for effective teaching including: Head for knowledge, Heart for values and engagement and Hands for active involvement and lesson planning. Fostering resilience and creativity for lasting sustainability climate action.

At the Permaculture Association, we are pushing permaculture to new frontiers, connecting people and places to make change happen and grow the permaculture community.
