About the CPD course
The purpose of this training course is to build confidence in the workforce in completing the DASH RIC; a tool used to assess the risk of further harm from DVA.It is suitable for anyone with an interest in this area; who may be working with families or individuals who may be affected by DVA; and is looking to be able to signpost to suitable support if a disclosure is made. It will help with identifying abusive behaviours ; how to complete immediate safeguarding and who to refer to in your area. The training course will be delivered in one session lasting half a day with breaks for tea and coffee. There are approx. 16 spaces on each workshop. The training course will be delivered using power point; group discussions and small group work
