Thrive - Fronting the Challenge Projects
About the CPD course
As teenagers begin to transition from childhood through adolescence to adulthood; those working alongside them can optimise this window of opportunity to build emotional resilience and support learning. This virtual training course will provide you; as a senior or middle leader; with a strategic overview of the Thrive Approach. It will help you to consider how best to develop a whole-setting wellbeing programme while upskilling your team with the latest thinking around emotional resilience and engaging young people with their learning. It will explore how you can create a culture and environment that facilitate the wellbeing of students and staff.
Thrive promotes children’s and young people’s positive mental health by helping adults know how to be and what to do in response to their differing and sometimes distressed behaviour.
The Thrive Approach is appropriate for anyone working with children and young people - such as in education (individual schools through to multi-academy trusts (MATs)), social care, healthcare, community groups and local authorities, as well as for parents and carers.
