An introduction to mental health awareness covering: What is mental health; The mental health Continuum; Stigma and Discrimination; Stress; Spotting Signs of distress; How to start a conversation around mental health; The importance of Self-care. The course aims to increase your awareness around mental health to enable you to support yourself and others when struggling. The course can be delivered face to face. 3-3.5 hours duration. Each delegate will receive a manual; workbook and certificate of completion.
