About the CPD course
This course looks at the historical and social context of economic inequality and abuse within the wider discourse of domestic abuse. Economic abuse disproportionately impacts women and girls during and long after an abusive relationship has ended. It affects their ability to work; to access education; legal services; has potential long-term implications on credit worthiness and ultimately impacts on their ability to be autonomous in exercising their rights within our society. The course invites learners to develop practical skills and knowledge to help survivors become economically resilient.
