Bias is a powerful word and can create feelings that are uncomfortable to deal with. But that doesnt have to be the case. Bias is a natural; inevitable part of perception. What we need to do is make sure were not relying on patterns of thought that exclude certain ideas; or more importantly; certain people. By the end of the course; youll have a greater understanding of who in our societies; workplaces; or teams may be more affected by bias and learn how you can reduce some of the bias you may be using without realising it.
