About the CPD course
The aim of the course is to increase knowledge; awareness and understanding of gambling related harms in order to safeguard young people aged 18-25 who do not have access to formal education. This includes young people who are employed; as well as young people who are not in education; employment or training. The course looks at what gambling is and what gambling harm is; why this age group is vulnerable to gambling harms; how to spot the signs of harm and where to access information and support.
We are an award-winning charity working to prevent children and young people from experiencing gaming and gambling harms through awareness raising, education and research.
Through a portfolio of evidence-based programmes, we develop and deliver training and resources for a range of groups who have influence over children and young people.
