This course will equip attendees to support and advise households who are in fuel poverty and who are; therefore; struggling to pay their energy costs and heat their homes. We will provide up-to-date information on energy prices; how to manage bills and understand energy use; tips on saving energy in the home; advice on staying safe from carbon monoxide; and information on grants and other support schemes. Delegates will also receive a range of practical resources to share with others and regular updates by newsletters after the course.
We are based in North Yorskshire and advise on anything to do with energy, whether it is understanding energy bills, advice on the forthcoming price rises, dealing with energy debts, financial grants, schemes for energy efficiency improvements, energy saving tips, the Priority Services Register and help with water bills. Our overall mission is to improve physical health and mental well-being through making homes warmer and energy bills more affordable.
