About the CPD course

This module covers: Revision on Categories of protection; definitions; the law and risks; competent person; system operation and actions; schedules - testing equipment; checks; methods for reducing unwanted alarms; testing detectors; MCP and ancillaries and documentation. This module must be completed to continue on to the other modules and is part of the four and five day course leading to the EAL Level 3 exam. The course will provide a detailed understanding of how to ensure fire detection and fire alarm system is installed to the requirements of BS 5839-1:2017 and the BAFE Sp203 Scheme. The third module of the four modules required before the Ofqual approved Level 3 examination can be taken.
