This conference looks at improving the quality and safety of IV therapy in children and young people both in hospital and through effective IV Therapy at home (p-OPAT). The conference will look at developments and progress against the December 2015 Guideline ‘Intravenous fluid therapy in children and young people in hospital’ developing and assessing competence in IV therapy for children and ensuring good practice in paediatric outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy and reducing and managing complications in IV Therapy in children and young people.
