This one hour session with literacy expert Pie Corbett will help you to discover how to develop and implement a rich; text-based reading curriculum to support children to become motivated and independent readers. Pie Corbett is an educationalist; literacy expert and author well known for his books on teaching creative writing as well as many other books; schemes and anthologies. He is also known for promoting creative approaches in the classroom and has experience as a teacher; head teacher and Ofsted inspector. He regularly lectures on education and the UK government has consulted Pie Corbett as an educational advisor.
