CITB Nl; the industry training board for the construction industry are hosting their Women in Construction Summit to be held on Wednesday 6th April 2022; Belfast. With a view to inspiring change and shattering stereotypes the WICN Summit will be a day of inspirational stories; business advice and career development for women currently working in the construction industry; those thinking of joining and for employers who support diversity or best practice in the industry. Hosted by Sarah Travers; former BBC Journalist and featuring Michaela Wain; owner of five construction related companies; Women in Construction Ambassador and BBC The Apprentice finalist.
We represent the amalgamated operations of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the Sector Skills Council for construction, ConstructionSkills in Northern Ireland. As an Industry Training Board and Sector Skills Council our role is to encourage the adequate training of those employed or intending to be employed in the construction industry and to improve the skills and productivity of the industry in Northern Ireland. We provide advice, courses and grants for training to help construction companies improve their skills to increase their competitive edge.
