Away from the hustle and bustle of London; the LGPS Pooling Symposium takes place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on the 25th 26th April 2023. The Symposium will focus on how LGPS pooling has evolved from its origins which go back further than the five years (1st of April 2018 deadline set by Government); when the eight Pools began operating. Leading figures from the local authority pension funds and the Pools will participate in a challenging and lively agenda that will ensure the Symposium is a must attend event for any person or organisation that wants to be involved in the future shaping of Pooling. To create the right environment for such an important event; the Symposium will be a retreat style event under Chatham House rules.
