Climate change causes multiple; interacting risks which create complex feedback effects that are challenging to deal with for both modellers and policy makers. Recent evidence indicates how some of the most severe climate change effects; such as those from extreme heat or sudden ecosystem collapse; are strongly influenced by interactions across sectors and regions. This talk will examine some of the key challenges and consider the potential effects of possible solutions to the problem of measuring and ultimately managing; climate risk.
